From the International Airport: Taxi - 20 minutes ride - don't get ripped off ! (R$ 45,00 reais/US$ 30,00)
Bus + taxi - 25 minutes - Cheaper...catch Real bus to the National Airport and then a taxi. (R$ 18,00 reais/US$ 9,00) Bus - 35 minutes - catch Real bus to Nilo Pecanha Avenue, on the same avenue catch bus 206 or 214 , when it goes up the hill , start to look for the hostel on your left hand side. (R$5,00 reais/US$ 2,50)
From the Bus Station Novo Rio: Taxi - 8 minutes only! (R$ 15,00 reais/US$ 7,50) Catch bus 127 or 128, get off at Nilo Pecanha Avenue, on the same avenue catch bus 206 or 214 , when it goes up the hill, start to look for the hostel number. (R$ 5,00 reais/US$ 1,75)
From Santos Dumont Airport: Taxi - 5 minutes. Taxi is the only way up.(R$ 8,00 reais/US$ 2,5)

Wish I had found this hostel 3 months ago. Been to 6 others to find it. Worth the effort. The staff are cute, sweet, lovely, accomidating... Best hostel maybe out of 30 or 40 I've stayed in out of 9 months in south america.

Had a great vacation at the Hostel Santa Tereasa. Staff was great and service was excellent. Recommend Highly!
