Lovely hostel! Nice communal areas, decent beds, and it has a seriously awesome location in Palermo. They gave us great tourism information and treated us well.

I had a pretty nice stay at Amasoho. It was really well located near shops, and restaurant, and the subway was 2 blocks away, and that takes you all over the city.

I love my stay at Amasoho. It was great near shops, and restaurants. It was very convenient! And I donÂ?t have to look far because the subways are nearby.

I checked out a number of different hostels in Central BA and discovered that Amasoho was the cheapest - all the others were a minimum of 50 pesos per night where as Amasoho was 40 pesos a night with each seventh night free. Expecting it to be a bit of a dive I was pleasantly surprised when I moved in I discovered that it was clean and had exceptionally friendly staff; for example they lent me a padlock and a electricity converter and they also took care of my passport and provided free (fairly reliable and fast) wifi. The location is excellent as well - no more than 5 minutes walk from plaza Italia subte and Palermo Subte (D line) and walking distance from the coolest areas of Palermo Soho (which is the hippest part of Buenos Aires) as well as Ave Santa Fe , which has buses to every other part of Buenos Aires you want to visit. Also, unlike alot of other Hostels, I discovered later, Amasoho privides you with more than decent kitchen facilities and lets you bring in your own alcohol if you want to... This saves you a lot of money on food and partying as the clubs and bars charge a minimum of 25 pesos per (litre) of beer when in the supermarket its only 6 pesos. If you forget that the supermarkets stop selling alcohol at 10pm (which you will when you lose track of time) then donÂŽt worry because Amasoho hostel sells beers 24 hours a day at only 8 pesos - this from my 3 months searching in BA is absolutely unrivaled. One more thing - they also have a pleasant patio area to eat and relax in the day time. Basically - from what I have seen, you wonÂŽt find a better priced nor accommodating hostel in Buenos Aires. Though one cautionary note - the coffee they serve gratis in the morning is undrinkable without milk :-) Paul Beaumont Loveinthetimeoffacebookyeah@gmail.com Ps For English speakers wanting to practice their Spanish, the split in the hostel is about 60% south American 40% European so you wonÂŽt find yourself just living with English speakers in Buenos Aires like I know a lot of travelers do.

Vayan! Lo recominedo,
